If are you looking for unusual and original entertainment and like luxury or you love shopping and want to try your luck at the casino = Las Vegas is the right place to spend a few days as your budget allows. The day never ends here and nobody gets bored! No wonder that more then 40 million people from all over the world visit this place each year.
A few words about history. The city was officially founded as a city in 1905 with classical stores and saloons! A Big boom was started during the construction of Hover Dam – 1931, thousands of workers come here. And important step was in 1950 – the state of Nevada had again legalized gambling. Many gamblers from other states in USA came. After 1990 new models of mega hotels started to be built, inspired by well-known towns or places as Venetian, Ceasar, Luxor… and Las Vegas , now, has 13 out of the 20 largest resorts in the world!
Interesting places not only for Non Gamblers
- The MOB Museumis all about history of organized crime in USA. That is really very interesting exposition.
- Chapel of the Flowers Wedding Chapels
- Nevada State Museumis from old prehistory until to showgirls…
- Shark Reef Aquarium
- Aquaparks
Here is my list of the best TOP Hotels in LAS VEGAS
- Bellagio Hotel and Casino – luxury casino resort with pools, dining places and luxury brand shops. Absolutely amazing and famous is show – Fountains of Bellagio
- The Venetian -beautiful and original design was inspired by real Italian architecture and design. Visitors can see real music performances and gondolas like in Venetia in Italy.
- Luxor Hotel and Casino – old Egypt – themed complex with Casino
- Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – absolutely cool Rock and Roll themed style
- Flaming is oldest hotel in LV and was built in1947!
Are you hungry or thirsty? There are plenty of ethnic restaurants – steak houses, cafes, bistros, pastries…and you can choose from Mexican, Thai, Korean, Italian or French.
Very popular are half day Trips – between the most popular places are Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon or Gold Strike Canyon.
My TIP is a day Trip – Death Valley National Park – 1994
It is a dessert valley located in Southwest California alongside the Nevada border. The name was given by a group of pioneers. They lost here in the winter 1849-1850. The place was originally home of the Timbisha Shoshone. The Park is known for its extremes – Badwater Basin– salt flats is the lowest and driest point in the USA.

Long before Dubai began constructing those colossal towers, hotels and malls, Las Vegas paved the way to this trend of building bigger and more extravagant structure one after another. The weather looks perfect when you went!
